Leica E72 Circular Polarizer glass filter - with aluminium filter ring.
Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filter can minimise unwanted reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass, and also saturate colors, providing better contrast, foe example inhanseing blue sjy and clouds. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder, and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun. Size 72 mm. Filter factor approx. + 1.3 stops. Serves also as a lens protector. Weight 227 gr.
