Improved minimum focusing distance
With a minimum focusing distance of 40 centimetres, the wide-angle lens unlocks fascinating photographic opportunities. This capability stems from a unique dual-curve mechanism crafted by Leica's expert engineers. It notably expands the rotational range of the distance ring compared to the previous model, letting you get even closer to your subjects. The compact prime lens boasts a focus ring that allows for exceptionally quiet, smooth and easy adjustments across the entire range. Focusing is still managed through the M camera's rangefinder for up to 70 centimetres. For distances ranging from 70 to 40 centimetres, you can rely on the live view display, Visoflex 2, or the Leica FOTOS app.
