Complementing the zoom range are specialized lens coatings that shed water, oils, dirt, and debris without leaving residues and a simple and uncluttered, yet highly effective, reticle that is enhanced with an illuminated aiming dot. Low-profile capped turrets provide precise 0.1 MRAD per click impact point correction with generous 18 MRAD windage and elevation adjustment ranges that allow you to place your shots exactly where you want them, even at distance.
In addition, the rugged design and reliable mechanics of the controls make the Leica Amplus 6 resistant to shocks and the most adverse weather conditions, thus ensuring functional reliability in every hunting situation – whether stalking, on a driven hunt, or shooting from blinds at twilight or night.
To withstand the repeated recoil of regular use, the one-piece maintube is made of lightweight but strong aluminum with a robust 30mm diameter. The housing is nitrogen filled to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in extreme conditions and temperatures. Hydrophobic AquaDura lens coatings cause water to bead and oil to be removed without residue for clearer vision

The Leica fast reticle adjustment BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) lets you adjust the reticle to various shooting distances. Using the calibrations, the reticle can be set so that the exact impact point is guaranteed on the target. The BDC is easy to use and functions with absolute precision in all weather conditions.
With a “direct dial ring” (set from 12 rings is available separetely) , Leica’s BDC works even more quickly and intuitively. Simply replace the standard engraved ring with a ring featuring your range information, and start selecting the precise shooting distance. With 12 different rings to choose from, you can pick the best-fit one for your caliber and load.
Reticle L-Ballistic
With a crosshair thickness of 0.2 in/0.5 cm and distance between vertical guidelines of 4.9 in/12.5 cm, these are the reticles for precise shots at longer distances. Line/dot markings enable sighting on the target with the necessary ballistic trajectory correction without the need to change the reticle setting – as long as the distance to the target and the ballistic characteristics of the ammunition used are known.

The data is conveniently transferred via Bluetooth® to the array of newest Leica rangefindets . This allows you to calculate the trajectory for almost any ammunition, taking into account the parameters relevant to hunting, such as bullet range, sight-line height, temperature and altitude.
