Geovid Pro SE 10x42
All-rounder for any terrain. The Geovid Pro SE 42 models are true all-rounder: Excellent, bright optics and the powerful rangefinding up to 2,000 meters. Customize the Geovid Pro SE via Bluetooth® with the Leica Ballistics app and receive precise ballistic solutions with the embedded Applied Ballistics Ultralight® software. From observation to targeting to shooting: a reliable companion for all types of hunting.
Geovid Pro SE 10x42 is ideal for almost any task that requires higher magnification. The outstanding features of the Leica Geovid Pro SE models result from their perfectly coordinated, unrivaled combination of optical quality, highly accurate ballistics calculation, the very fastest reliable measurements, and unique ergonomic design. Together, these superlative strengths propel the Leica Geovid Pro SE models to the top of their class. At the highest performance level, the Geovid Pro SE models offer everything the responsible hunter demands, at an unrivaled price.
The compact rangefinder binoculars with 42 mm offer a superlative level of optical performance previously only known in specialty binoculars without rangefinders. One reason for this high performance is the Perger-Porro prism system used exclusively by Leica. The Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models can be used wherever precise detail reproduction and twilight capability are required. Brilliant color, contrast, and image sharpness are indispensable, for example, when identifying animal species. With high light transmission combined with a large field of view, the Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 can replace a premium glass without compromise. The additional, unique ballistics features make for absolutely universal binoculars with unbeatable ballistic rangefinding – for all conceivable hunting and civilian uses.
The Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models use the most advanced ballistics program. A ballistics computer in the binoculars interacts with the Leica Ballistics App on the smartphone. Binoculars and smartphone communicate via Bluetooth®. This way, settings selected in the app (data configuration) can be transferred to the binoculars (computer) – and the binoculars can transfer measurement data to the app. Alternatively, instead of the app, a Kestrel® weather meter or a Garmin® smartwatch can be connected to the binoculars.
The Applied Ballistics UltralightTM software, supplied ex works on the Geovid Pro SE, provides a database of G1/G7 data and over 740 factory ammunition cartridges. In addition, the extensive Leica database is available. Applied Ballistics UltralightTM calculates trajectories and the respective corrections for an accurate holdover up to 875 yards. The Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models enable accurate shots over short, medium, and long distances.
Navigating with Leica ProTrack (LPTTM)
In addition to the rangefinder, the Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models also have a built-in compass. The binoculars can thus determine geographical positions in the terrain. With GPS tracking, the coordinates of the last five distance measurements are automatically stored and can be accessed for navigation. Thus, the Leica Geovid Pro 42 SE are able to guide hunters safely to the target, or to another previously-measured point in the field. This is done via the smartphone display, navigating via a simple compass needle or terrain maps. With the compass needle, the direction of travel can be clearly determined. In Google Maps®, the target point is set by a pin. The BaseMap® app is also used for tracking. The hunter can even see the position of the target embedded in a graphical terrain display. This makes the approach easy and safe, even under challenging conditions. With this GPS tracking feature named LPTTM (Leica ProTrack), Leica addresses the need for a tool to quickly and ethically locate shot game.
Ergonomics for easy handling
An open-bridge design makes the Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models very easy to grip. This allows the binoculars to be held with one hand, firmly yet relaxed. Even prolonged observation is possible without fatigue. The number of controls is kept to a minimum and the buttons are placed within easy reach. The Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 can be easily operated with gloves, as well. The gently curved design, compact overall dimensions, and relatively low weight make the Leica Geovid Pro SE 42 models ideal companions for stalking as well as for the raised hide.
