The Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ edition rangefinder binocular features the best possible solution for long distance hunting and shooting. It combines the best optical quality, unique ergonomic design, sophisticated ballistic calculation, the fastest and most reliable measurements. In addition, the Shot Probability Analysis provides the user the expected performance under a wide range of conditions in percentage. To make it perfect it comes in flat dark earth color to differentiate to the standard Pro version.
Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ is a new version of the well established Geovid Pro in a special color “flat dark earth” and with the most sophisticated ballistics calculation in the market with a new feature, the Shot Probability Analysis that provides the user the expected performance under a wide range of conditions in percentage to give the user the greatest possible safety before the shot.
The Geovid Pro AB+ comes with Applied Ballistics® Elite on-board out of the box and delivers correction data up to max. range. The embedded sensors are always considered in the ballistic calculation and the wind correction feature helps the customer holding into the wind while shooting regardless of the available ballistic setting.
NEW: Shot Probability Analysis.
With the Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+, for the first time, Shot Probability Analysis technology has been integrated in laser-rangefinder binoculars. An exclusive result of the cooperation between Leica Sport Optics and the leading manufacturer of ballistics software: Applied Ballistics®. This involves calculating the likelihood of actually hitting the desired target point. The reliability of the four main parameters – distance, wind speed, rifle precision, muzzle velocity of the bullet – are evaluated. From this, their influence on possible deviations from the optimum shot are calculated.
Shot Probability Analysis displays the expected performance under a wide range of conditions within the Geovid Pro AB+ as well as in the Leica Ballistics App. It shows the hit probability as percentage for a given rifle system against a specific target as a function of range, considering the uncertainties involved in field shooting.
The result of the Shot Probability Analysis appears as a percentage within the field of view. This allows the shooter to decide quickly and safely whether to take the shot, or whether it’s better to improve the shooting conditions further.
