Description
Leica's 7x24 Pinmaster II Pro Golf Laser Rangefinder is a powerful ranging computer that can give you a critical edge on the links. It ensures that when you go to measure your distances, you're targeting the correct spot, with terrain factored in. Multiple lens and prism coatings ensure clear and bright high-contrast images with true color representation across the generous field of view.
It all starts with a useful and versatile 7x24 monocular that allows you to see the lay of the land and pick out the path you want to play with confidence. The essence of the system is the combination of rangefinder and inclinometer. The IR laser measures distances up to 825 yards (750 meters) in 0.3 seconds with two different modes: spot or scan. The inclinometer measures the relative angle from you to your target and, using the specific trajectory of a golf ball, displays an adjusted distance for you to shoot for. This system, the Angle Compensated Distance (ACD), can be turned off for tournament or handicap rounds. Complementing the ACD system is Leica's First-Target Logic. This is a critical piece of technology that displays the distance to the closest target in the field of view so you can be sure that you're measuring the distance to the pin, and not the trees behind it. As with ACD, this feature can be turned off if prohibited by play regulations.
Intuitive two-button controls and fold-down rubber eye cups for use with or without eye wear are essential for easy handling.
Four-character in-view red LED is bright and easy to see in any light, and allow Auto-adjust brightness based on ambient light and have a Low battery indicator.
Pinmaster II's housing is crafted from a rugged carbon fiber reinforced plastic over a lightweight aluminum-alloy chassis. The entire device is sealed and waterproof to a depth of 3.3', (1 m) and since it weighs in at just 7.8 ounces, (200 gr) it can be easily carried through 18 holes. A wide exit pupil and long eye-relief, combined with the fold-down rubber eyecups, ensures that you'll be able to comfortably use it all day. Hydrophobic AquaDura coatings on external optical surfaces allows dirt, dust, and fingerprints to be removed easily, in addition High Durable Coating (HDC) helps to resist scratching or marring of the optical surfaces. P40 phase-correcting prism coatings for improved contrast and color fidelity
Laser Rangefinder :
Class 1 eye-safe IR laser
Measuring time: 0.3 seconds
Beam divergence approximately 0.5 x 2.5 mrad
Displays distances in yards or meters
Measuring modes:
Single reading: Distance to a stationary target
Scanning mode: Track a moving target or scan scene with updated measurements
Technology :
Angle Compensated Distance:
Uses internal inclinometer to calculate uphill or downhill angle
Uses distance and angle, plus golf-ball trajectory to display adjusted distance
Displays adjusted image in conjunction with linear distance
Leica First-Target Logic
Indicates distance to closest target, ensuring you meter the pin and not the trees in the distance
Allows for the deactivation of the angle-corrected distance for use in handicap rounds.
